Design Features

·The sealing surface of the ball and valve seat is sprayed or welded with hard alloy, which has strong anti erosion ability and extends the service life of the valve.

·The valve body is forged as a whole, with a reliable packing sealing structure to ensure no external leakage.

·Pre tighten the valve seat spring to ensure that the valve has a continuous and stable sealing pre tightening force.

·The valve stem is designed with dual bearings to ensure smooth valve opening and closing.

·Independent positioning structure, valve opening and closing do not affect the sealing performance of valve stem packing.

Core structure of Ball valve

Sphere: A rotating component with a circular through-hole, which is the core of a ball valve. There are two types of through-hole shapes: standard circular (full diameter) and reduced diameter, which determine the magnitude of fluid resistance.

Valve seat: a sealing component that surrounds a sphere and cooperates with it to achieve sealing. The material is divided into soft sealing (such as polytetrafluoroethylene) and hard sealing (such as metal alloy).

Valve body: The shell that supports the ball and valve seat, made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, copper, etc. It is divided into integral and split (side mounted, upper mounted) structures.

Valve stem: connects the ball to the driving device, transmits rotational torque, and has undergone anti-corrosion treatment on the surface (such as coating or nitriding).

Drive device: manual (handle, handwheel), pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, etc., used to drive the ball to rotate.

Working principle of ball valve

Open state: The sphere rotates 90 °, the through-hole is aligned with the pipeline axis, the fluid can freely pass through, and the flow resistance is close to that of a straight pipe.

Closed state: The sphere rotates to the point where the through-hole is perpendicular to the pipeline, and the valve seat tightly adheres to the sealing surface of the sphere, blocking fluid flow.

Adjustment function: Some ball valves (such as V-shaped ball valves) have V-shaped notches on the ball body, which can change the flow area when rotated, and are used for flow regulation (similar to Regulating valves).
