Leave a messageOpen type Flat Gate Valve
The expansion type flat Gate valve, due to its unique dual gate structure for expansion sealing, can achieve excellent bidirectional sealing performance under both high and low pressures. The greater the torque, the tighter the seal. During the switching process, the sealing surface of the gate and the sealing surface of the seat ring detach, reducing the wear of the sealing surface and extending the service life of the valve. Given these characteristics, this valve is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines.
Advantages of Flat Gate Valve
Low fluid resistance: The through hole of the gate is consistent with the inner diameter of the pipeline, and the medium flow is similar to a straight pipe, with extremely low pressure loss, especially suitable for high viscosity and granular media.
Reliable sealing performance:
The single gate structure relies on the pressure of the medium to push the gate tightly against the valve seat, forming a self sealing;
The double gate structure has strong bidirectional sealing ability through the action of springs or wedges, and is suitable for high-pressure working conditions.
Easy and convenient opening and closing: The gate movement trajectory is simple, the opening and closing torque is small, and the operation is effortless, suitable for large-diameter pipelines or frequent opening and closing scenarios.
Compact and durable structure: The overall structure is simple, with few parts and small installation space; The sealing surface of the gate and valve seat is wear-resistant, has a long service life, and has low maintenance costs.
Wide applicability: It can be used for various media such as water, oil, gas, dust, etc. It is resistant to high pressure and high temperature, and meets the demanding working conditions of petroleum, natural gas, metallurgy, and other industries.
Key points for installation and maintenance of open type flat gate valve
Before installation, the pipeline should be thoroughly purged to prevent impurities such as welding slag and rust from entering the valve chamber, which may affect the accuracy of the gate opening; Large caliber valves need to be equipped with independent supports to avoid stress transmission from the pipeline to the valve body, which may cause the gate to jam; Electric/hydraulic actuators require a preset upper limit of the opening torque to prevent overload damage to the wedge mechanism. Regularly disassemble the valve cover and observe the wear of the gate and valve seat. If grooves or pits appear, they need to be ground, repaired, or replaced; Check the clearance between the wedge and gate of the manual valve every six months, and compensate for wear by adjusting the bolts; The valve stem thread and wedge contact surface need to be coated with high-temperature anti seize agent to prevent jamming and corrosion.
