Axial flow check valve manufacturer

Axial flow Check valves determine the opening and closing of the valve disc based on the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet ends of the valve. When the pressure at the inlet end is greater than the sum of the pressure at the outlet end and the spring force, the valve disc opens. As long as there is a pressure difference, the valve disc remains in an open state, and the degree of opening is determined by the magnitude of the pressure difference. When the sum of the outlet pressure and the spring force is greater than the inlet pressure, the valve disc closes and remains in a closed state. Due to the dynamic force balance system in which the valve disc opens and closes, the valve operates in a balanced and noiseless manner, greatly reducing water hammer phenomena.


Structural characteristics

Low flow resistance: Axial flow check valves adopt a unique axial shuttle structure, with streamlined flow surfaces such as the inner cavity surface of the valve body, the guide cover, and the valve disc. The front is circular and the back is pointed, ensuring that the fluid is in a laminar flow state, thereby reducing the flow resistance coefficient and increasing the flow coefficient of the valve.

Quick opening and closing: The valve disc has a short stroke and a streamlined structure design with low resistance, allowing for quick closure.

Excellent sealing performance: The valve disc is relatively light in weight, and the impact force on the valve seat after short stroke closure of the lightweight and low inertia valve disc is small, which can effectively reduce leakage caused by damage to the sealing surface of the valve seat.

Shock absorption and noise reduction: Designed with shock absorption springs, it avoids direct impact between the valve disc and valve body when a regular check valve is opened, resulting in vibration and noise. The valve seat adopts a combination sealing structure of hard sealing and soft sealing, which has noise reduction and shock absorption effects.

Flexible installation: Compared with other forms of check valves of the same size, axial flow check valves have shorter length, lighter weight, smaller installation position, and can be installed horizontally, vertically, and at any angle.

Low operating energy consumption: The fluid flowing through the axial flow check valve only needs to overcome the spring force to fully open the valve. The required critical flow rate is much lower than that of the rotary check valve, which can minimize operating energy consumption while ensuring sufficient flow area.
